There are fifty (50) of these British Country Birds in this collection, which are certainly very desirable items. Each bird rests on it's own flat stand with a felt base surround underneath, on which is printed the name of the bird, the sculptors name (Andy Pearce) and identifying the fact that the bird and its surrounds are hand painted. When I say surrounds, the bird might be in a tree/on a branch, in a bush or have old objects near to them. One bird appears to have adopted an old metal kettle as its home. I had to stop collecting these lovely birds because I could not afford them any more and now that I am well and truly retired I must, unfortunately, start disposing of some favourite items and try to make a little money for Christmas. Out of the whole collection, one item only is broken, but at a joint which can easily be repaired.
